If you just missed it, Google featured the women´s rights activist Susan B. Anthony. The inspirational woman played a big role in US women´s right to vote, discussed the gender pay gap and fought for the abolition of slavery.

Born on Feb.15, 1820, in Massachusetts, Anthony grew up with strong values like equality and spirituality. She made it a life goal to make a big change and succeeded to do so.

Anthony partnered up in 1851 with the reformer Elizabeth Cady Station to take a stand for women´s rights. This successful relationship lasted more than 50 years.

In this time spawn, they created the American Equal Rights Association, became editors of the newspaper “The Revolution,” and founded the National Woman Suffrage Association.

In 1975, she was the first woman to be depicted on the US dollar coin

So to celebrate the memory of the woman, I wanted to share with you lessons from this inspirational figure.

1. Legacy takes time to build

The bigger your goals are, the more time it requires to achieve them.
