When it comes to first starting your own business, more times than not you will make some mistakes.

On the other hand, only 30% of the new businesses fail within the new years. These numbers go up as the years go by to 50% for five years and 66% for 10 years.

For my first business, I made many mistakes that in retrospect I could have avoided if I did my research more.

Over the years with some experiences in my backpack, mentors that changed my life and a renewed love for innovation, I am sharing with you the top 5 of my advice.

1- Study the field:

You have this great idea to create the project of your dreams or see a financial opportunity and you finally at a step in life where you´re ready to make the big jump.

Make sure to study your market and to respond to an unsatisfied need.

First, you need to make sure that there is a demand for the product or service you want to sell. If there are competitors within your industry, what makes you special?
